Friday Favourites

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This week’s ‘Friday Favourite’ is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, which I absolutely love.

Ever since I started getting back into makeup I have always wanted to try this mascara.  I have watched loads of YouTube videos and loved the results.  I asked my hubby if he could get me some for my birthday and showed him a picture (for the 100th time)  He wrote it down and took a photo so he couldn’t forget bless him. Then two days later my look Incredible beauty boxes arrived (sorry I was too poorly to do blog posts, but I will) my son was unboxing the deluxe box and I spotted the pink tube and couldn’t believe it.  I was so happy and couldn’t wait to use it.

I absolutely love this mascara and it was so worth the wait.

It looks stunning the pink packaging and raised and embossed lettering really gives it a luxury look.  The brush was inspired by the curves of beautiful  women and it really does make a huge difference compared to a standard brush style.

The brush coats each lash perfectly and lengthens and curls the lashes with just one application.  They suggest 3 even applications but I tend to mainly do just one, unless I want fuller lashes and then I just add the extra onto the top halves of my lashes and they look like false lashes.  This mascara doesn’t clump together either.  It doesn’t claim to be water proof but my daughter went swimming for a few hours and it stayed in place no panda eye’s.  The water proof ‘Better Than Sex Mascara’ is in a mint green packaging.

I definitely recommend this mascara it really is worth every penny.   The mascara is available in a wide range of stores like ‘Debenhams and online at Look Incredible the full-size is available around £18-£19 and you can also purchase a deluxe size for around £11-£12 and that will go along way because you don’t need to use a lot.

Definitely my no 1 mascara.

Thanks for checking out my post and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

Bye for now x

Friday Favourites

Dr PawPaw

So it’s the first Friday Favourites of June and it has to be without a doubt the fab Dr PawPaw Original Balm. I remember whenever I hurt myself when I was little my mam or dad would get out the antiseptic cream and the always called it magic cream, myself and my siblings thought it really was magic.  Now I have 2 children I say the same thing but that antiseptic cream isn’t as good as Dr PawPaw which truly is a magic cream.

Its fragrance free and can be used on cuts and grazes. Sunburn, dry skin, chapped lips, minor burns, rashes, nappy rash, for the nails and cuticle’s, it can even be used as a conditioner for the hair. Also can be used before you apply makeup if you have patchy dry skin.

It’s kind to skin, softens and soothes and heals the skin and also keeps it clean (make sure to clean the skin before applying the balm, It is natural and made in the UK.

I think everyone should own this, great for in the car, holidays, baby changing bag and handbags you never know when you might need it. It’s widely available and a bargain @ £6.95.

I hadn’t heard much about Dr PawPaw before, That’s mainly due to the fact I’ve been bedridden for so long. Thanks to Glossybox for adding it into Mays box. I will be buying more and would like to try out the other products available.

Do you have a product that you can’t live without? Let me know.

Have a beautiful weekend 💖

Fantastic Opportunity

Itsy Nails

Last week I came across a Instagram post on ‘Itsy Nails London’ calling for bloggers in the UK, So I sent them a DM and I was shocked to get a reply telling ms they’re going to send me some samples and asking for my address.  I never thought that they’d want me. So I was over the moon. I have seen loads of posts like this on Instagram but always thought that they would want bloggers with thousands of followers, I’ve been tagging others in the post so they can contact the brands. So now I don’t know why I was worried and my advice is if you see an opportunity like that go for it what’s the worst that can happen. Go for it, ‘Seize the day’.

Friday I received my parcel and 4 absolutely gorgeous DuraPro Gel Effect nail polishes as shown in the pic. Also with the cutest little bag. So I will be posting a review once ive tried all the stunning polishes.  I will also post the swatches with the review.
