Monthly Favourites

My July Monthly Favourites

Hi, Hope your all having a great week. My health isnt great atm but i thought id take my mind of the pain and write up this post.  I didnt get to do my friday favourites last week and so im doing my favourites for the whole month of july. There’s alot to choose from, so im picking my top 5 favourites.

5. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.

I use this everyday as make up remover, cleansing my face and neck and also just to give my skin a boost.  Its so kind and gentle on the skin it soothes and doesnt cause any irritation or break outs. It lifts waterproof mascara and liner with ease. It also comes in travel size bottles and is also great for removing left over wax after waxing, it cools the skin down.

4. Itsy Nails London – DuraPro Gel Effect nail polishes.

I just love these nail polishes,  I’m not great at nail art and cant do gel or acrylic nails but with these you get the look of a gel manicure with the ease of using a nail polish.  These nail polishes come in 10 stunning colours, there’s no need for a base and top coat however i do recommend using a base coat to protect your nails from staining due to the high pigmented shades. Just two even coats is all you need for a long-lasting, high shine glossy manicure.

3. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.

I absolutely love this mascara.  You may have seen it featured in my friday favourites. This mascara is fantastic with the brush that has the curves inspired by the womans body, It seperates the lashes with ease and gives each lash an even coating while also curling the lashes and giving them extra length and volume. Theres no need for eyelash curlers with this mascara it does it all for you with minimal effort. The brush also reaches the roots of the lashes and also behind the lash. It is definitely my HG of mascaras.

2.  Skin Chemists London – 24 hour Aqua Repair Facial Serum.

Im absolutely amazed with this serum, ive tried alot of serums and nothing compares. Its paraben free. I have never has a serum that gives my skin so much hydration that you can visibly see and feel the results after the first use. My skin feels smooth and hydrated and refreshed. I have very dry skin and usually have to end up using a sugar scrub to remove any dry patches of skin.  Which isnt good for your face.  I use the serum morning and night and i havent had any dry skin on my face and neck since i added this into my skincare routine.  Ive also tried this on my elbows and arms where i have eczema and its really helped minamise the dry skin.  Aswell as hydrating the skin it also firms and soothes the skin infushed with…

Rose Water which aims to maintain the skins balance whilst nourishing and firming the skin.

Aloe Vera which works to heal and rejuvenate the skin, providing hydration and improving skins texture.

1. Too Faced – Sweet Peach palette.

So now im at my number 1 favourite of july and not only is it my monthly favourite but its also my Holy Grail eyeshadow palette.  It smells absolutely amazing as the shadows are infused with the juicy scent and essence of peach. The shadows are highly pigmented and all work well together with 6 matte and 12 shimmer shades one of which is very glittery and does have some fall out. (Talk Derby To Me) which is the dark purple in the bottom right corner. The shadows are super buttery and blend really well, I love how easy it is to acheive a multitude of beautiful looks from natural to bridal and smokey eyes the possibilities are endless. I love that it also includes the Too Faced Signature Glamour Guide with instructions for three make up looks to get you started making it easy for beginners to learn how to blend and build up the colours to achieve a stunning make up look.

Thanks for checking out my post i hope you all have a fantastic day.

Bye for now x

Friday Favourites

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

This week’s ‘Friday Favourite’ is the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, which I absolutely love.

Ever since I started getting back into makeup I have always wanted to try this mascara.  I have watched loads of YouTube videos and loved the results.  I asked my hubby if he could get me some for my birthday and showed him a picture (for the 100th time)  He wrote it down and took a photo so he couldn’t forget bless him. Then two days later my look Incredible beauty boxes arrived (sorry I was too poorly to do blog posts, but I will) my son was unboxing the deluxe box and I spotted the pink tube and couldn’t believe it.  I was so happy and couldn’t wait to use it.

I absolutely love this mascara and it was so worth the wait.

It looks stunning the pink packaging and raised and embossed lettering really gives it a luxury look.  The brush was inspired by the curves of beautiful  women and it really does make a huge difference compared to a standard brush style.

The brush coats each lash perfectly and lengthens and curls the lashes with just one application.  They suggest 3 even applications but I tend to mainly do just one, unless I want fuller lashes and then I just add the extra onto the top halves of my lashes and they look like false lashes.  This mascara doesn’t clump together either.  It doesn’t claim to be water proof but my daughter went swimming for a few hours and it stayed in place no panda eye’s.  The water proof ‘Better Than Sex Mascara’ is in a mint green packaging.

I definitely recommend this mascara it really is worth every penny.   The mascara is available in a wide range of stores like ‘Debenhams and online at Look Incredible the full-size is available around £18-£19 and you can also purchase a deluxe size for around £11-£12 and that will go along way because you don’t need to use a lot.

Definitely my no 1 mascara.

Thanks for checking out my post and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

Bye for now x

Friday Favourites

Dr PawPaw

So it’s the first Friday Favourites of June and it has to be without a doubt the fab Dr PawPaw Original Balm. I remember whenever I hurt myself when I was little my mam or dad would get out the antiseptic cream and the always called it magic cream, myself and my siblings thought it really was magic.  Now I have 2 children I say the same thing but that antiseptic cream isn’t as good as Dr PawPaw which truly is a magic cream.

Its fragrance free and can be used on cuts and grazes. Sunburn, dry skin, chapped lips, minor burns, rashes, nappy rash, for the nails and cuticle’s, it can even be used as a conditioner for the hair. Also can be used before you apply makeup if you have patchy dry skin.

It’s kind to skin, softens and soothes and heals the skin and also keeps it clean (make sure to clean the skin before applying the balm, It is natural and made in the UK.

I think everyone should own this, great for in the car, holidays, baby changing bag and handbags you never know when you might need it. It’s widely available and a bargain @ £6.95.

I hadn’t heard much about Dr PawPaw before, That’s mainly due to the fact I’ve been bedridden for so long. Thanks to Glossybox for adding it into Mays box. I will be buying more and would like to try out the other products available.

Do you have a product that you can’t live without? Let me know.

Have a beautiful weekend 💖

Too Faced  Totally Cute Palette

Here we are with another “Friday Favourite”  The weeks are going by so fast were just days away from June.  Hope everyone’s enjoying the mini heat wave were having in the UK at the moment, I had three fan’s on yesterday to try to cool down,  I’m pleased it’s not as humid today.

So this week’s favourite is the fab “Too Faced Totally Cute Palette” which I just love, it’s a Limited Edition Palette it’s a tin and has a magnetic closure, it’s a lovely light pink shade and it comes with 2 sheets of the cutest stickers for you to personalise yourself,  this is my first Too Faced palette and I love the everything about it. rrp £32

The colours are absolutely stunning and pigmented like no other eye shadow I’ve ever used to date.  The colours look like they’ll be too much but they look fantastic and they blend really well and easy.  They apply to the lid like butter and a small amount goes along way. They look even better when applied with a wet brush sprayed with a setting spray.

My favourite colour is the Clover it is just stunning gives of a sort of foiled effect I also love Storm Cloud which is the dark teal. It’s got a beautiful two-toned metallic effect.

I have done some swatches worked top to bottom right to left. I took a photo normal light and then the other is with the flash so that you can see the lighter shades.

(Double Scoop, Shooting Star, Unicorn, Bunny Fu-fu, Clover, I 💖  TF, Chocolate Donut, Storm Cloud, Meow!)

 (Bunny Fu-fu – Meow!)

I can’t wait to get another Too Faced palette I’m so impressed.

What’s your favourite palette and why? Let me know I’m the comments

So the brushes included are (from left to right)

A01– Large Domed Powder. (Use to apply bronzer or a translucent powder the brush, with super soft bristles it doesn’t pick up too much product so it’s great if you want a natural look or build it up for a bronzer look and more coverage, works best with powder products)

B01– Flat Top Buffer. (Use this to buff the foundation into your skin for a flawless finish it works best with liquid and cream products. Ive tried mine out with a moisturizer to help it sink into the skin.)

A05 – Small Angled Blush. (Use this to apply Blush to the apples of your cheeks, use small amounts and build up the colour you’re looking for. Can also be used for contouring. Works best with powder Blush and bronzer and baked blush)

B03 – Buffing Concealer. (Use this just as you would use the B01 brush, This helps work the concealer around the eyes and gives the same flawless finish that the B01 brush gives. They work great together for a perfect finish on the whole face, hiding any blemishes and dark circles. Works best with liquid and cream products.

A06 – Large Fluffy Shader. (Use this brush to apply you’re base colour all over the lid, also you can use this brush to blend your transition colour. Add a light shade to set your eye primer and give  your eyes the perfect base. This brush is great for creating a nice natural eye look just by building up a bit of natural colour to your lid and blending it out. Gives a beautiful finish. Works best with powder and cream products)

B04 – Small Angled Blender. (Use this to softly blend out the crease and shading to the outer corners of the eye, the soft bristles make blending easy with no harsh lines. Works best with Loose Pigments and pressed pigments)

A09 – Angled Eyeliner. (With the Angled ferrule this brush makes it easy to apply gel and liquid liners. If i can do it anyone can, it gives so much more control making for a better application. Works best with liquid products)

A15 – Lip Liner. (This brush is fantastic for lining the lips you can also use this to fill in the lips giving you a nicer finish to the lips. Works best with liquid and cream products)

A17 – Angled Brow. (This brush makes doing your brows so much easier, it’s a nice firm brush to help you get the shape you want and helps to fill in and divine giving them a natural look. It’s so easy to use and as I have 2 I use my other one with some concealer to sharpen and neaten the edges.  This brush is also great for doing liner under the waterline and also for adding some colour to your under eyes with precision. Works best with brow gel and powders) (Also works well with gel and liquid liners)

All the brushes are hand finished which makes them even more special.  Theyre also vegan friendly and cruelty free.  These are definitely a fantastic set of brushes which are professional quality at an affordable price.

I definitely recommend these brushes, they work out at just £3.99 per brush, which in itself saves you money if you were to buy them separately. Don’t be fooled by the cost these brushes are high-end quality they don’t shed bristles and they’re gorgeous. They also have the best name Unicorn Brushes. Friday Favourites

My first “Friday Favourites” post. So today my favourite product has to be without a doubt my favourite nail polish Nails Inc, Westbourne Park-Nail Kale.

I love this nail Polish it was my first Nails Inc product which was in the Feb Edit of Look Incredible, I couldn’t wait to try it, Due to bad hands im not able to grip properly so I actually use it with the silver cap attached so that I have better control of the brush. I’ve never been great at painting my nails, some would go all streaky and just look awful,  but im able to paint my nails without any streaks even on my right hand. I couldn’t believe it.

A nail polish I definitely recommend. RRP £15

Have a beautiful weekend 💖
